Their are NO SWEAT SHOPS involved in making our products. The clothing is made of 100% pre-washed cotton or acrylic so their is no chance for messing it up in the wash. All clothing come with care and content labels attached. Some of our designs do have handmade buttons and fancy trims so to be on the safe side if you purchase any item with these features you should hand wash in cold water and drip dry or place garment in pillowcase before wash. Our jewelry are made from the finest sterling silver, glass, and gemstones so please DO NOT wear in the pool or shower. What are handmade poly formed buttons?We hand design our buttons out of a polymer clay mix. Polymer clay is a man made plastic material that bakes into a durable plastic object. Polymer comes in many different names, colors and forms. The exact polymer mixture/technique we use in our products is a total secret because it took us a very long time to create the mix. Once baked it can be used like any other plastic button you have around the house. But like all plastic in the right temp it can melt so no drying in high heat. What is block/stamp printing?We create our designs and prints in many ways including block or stamp printing. We create original designs by carving a drawing into blocks of rubber stamping materials. Totally easy if you know what your doing but can look really nasty and wont come out right if you dont. We create textile stamp pads out of raised felt then we begin our production run. How long does it take for you to create a design?The time differs depending on the type of design and pattern we create for the product. The sample may take a week from start to finish but the copies are a lot easier. Do you use American Apparel for your t-shirt designs?As much as we love American Apparel we DO NOT use this short cut. Production is tough we know this so designers have to at times use short cut to produce product. We create our t-shirt designs by hand designed SAJATA-E FOR D2BD pattern. SAJATA-E went to school (which was not cheap) to be able to create and grade a pattern so why not use the knowledge. Besides we kind of hate the idea of saying something is handmade when it really is not |
